Initial Free Consultation

Before beginning personal training sessions we will arrange an initial consultation, free of charge and lasting around 45 – 60 minutes. During the consultation we’ll go through your health and fitness background, diet, what kind of exercise you enjoy, and we’ll talk about what you want from your training, and your specific ambitions and motivations. It also gives you the chance to find out a bit about Fitso and what you can expect from your training.

Once you’ve decided you want to go ahead we can really get down to business. The first training session we do together will always include a number of fitness tests so that we can measure your progress over the weeks.

Tests may include weight and body composition tests, strength, flexibility, endurance and cardio tests. The fitness testing also enables us to assess any obvious biomechanical or other issues that may need to be addressed in the course of our training.

Once we have assessed your current fitness levels we can create a personal training plan specific to your needs, and set achieve, measurable realistic short and longer term goals. Each session we will build on the previous session and include appropriate progressions to ensure you are constantly challenged and extending your fitness. We’ll repeat relevant fitness testing at appropriate intervals so we can track and record your progress and you can see exactly how far you’ve come.

1-1 Training

Once you’ve decided you want to go ahead we can really get down to business. The first training session we do together will always include a number of fitness tests so that we can measure your progress over the weeks.
